On Wednesday 20 June, members of our staff, student and parent community came together to celebrate the successes and achievements of some of our Maori and Pasifika students.
The evening also fell during the time of Matariki. A time for new beginnings, a time for reflection, a time for goal setting and a time for new opportunities.
The evening was a great success. The School Choir and Kapa Haka group performed publically for the very first time in 2012 and were extremely well received by all.
A hugh thank you to the newly formed Whanau Parent Group and the staff, who helped make this evening of celebration possible.
Our students must also be thanked, as they are the reason for which we all came together. We are certainly looking forward to our next celebration.
He aha te mea nui o te ao? He tangata, he tangata, he tangata!
What is the most important thing in this world? It is people, it is people, it is people!

IF YOU DREAM IT, YOU CAN BECOME IT."
