Learning Through Sport Pathway
Learning Through Sport in the Upper Middle School offers students the opportunity to engage in English, Maths, Science, Social Science and Health & PE subjects through sporting contexts and connections. We believe that by making learning relevant and authentic for students, they then will achieve. We have high academic expectations mixed with a focus on developing outstanding young men and women. What students learn through being involved in sport, translates to life. We combine passionate, like-minded students with equally passionate, like-minded teachers, this is the ingredient for success.

The aim of our team is to:

  • Promote and foster a love of learning through the medium of sport and physical activity.
  • Help provide the necessary values and skills for students to develop as a lifelong learner
  • Develop the skills of collaboration, self management, critical thinking and leadership.

All students who wish to be considered for a place in the Learning Through Sport Class must complete an Application Form
