AIMS Games 2022

Congratulations to the Year7/8 students who competed in the AIMS Games from Saturday 3-9 September. We had 149 students competing across 16 different sporting codes, they represented Pāpāmoa College with great passion and pride.

A special mention to the following students who came away with overall places in their sports! This was an amazing achievemnet and fully deserved after all the hard training they had put in.

Caitlyn Fortescue (Y8) Gold Medal - Year 8 Girls Rock Climbing

Thomas Isaac (Y8) Gold Medal - Boys Trampoline, Silver Medal - Boys Artistic Gymnastics - Twisters

Cullen McCashin (Y8) & Keanu Jakeman (Y8) Silver Medal- Boys Tennis Doubles

Emily Barback (Y7) Silver Medal - Open Senior Girls Gymnastics

Lucas Bettridge (Y7) Bronze Medal - Year 7 Boys Mountain Biking Cross Country 

Max Stevenson (Y8) Bronze Medal - 50m Breaststroke, Bronze Medal 100m Breaststroke, Bronze Medal 200m Breaststroke

Each sport also had a Team Player Medal presented. This award went to the student who demonstrated a positive attitude, fair play and respect for their teammates and opposition, coaches and referees.
