Congratulations to the band 'Radiation' - Ollie Sutcliffe (Y10), Vinny Haynes (Y10), Oliver Spence (Y9), Nathan Brown (Y10) and Tallulah Haynes (Y12) who were awarded third place in the Play it Strange - Youthtown Songwriting Competition.

Their song 'Freak' won a $100 Rockshop Voucher!

Taylah Medeiros (Y11) and Tamara du Toit (Y11) were also selected as finalists. Taylah won for her song 'Leading You On', and Tamara was chosen for her song 'We Went High' played by the band 'Wasted Space' with James Ferns (Y11), James Paki (Y12) and Taylah Medeiros.

All the winners and finalists have won $750 worth of professional recording time and will have their songs on the National Youthtown Album.
