The Toi Ataata Visual Arts team invite you to our first-ever community student art exhibition at the Toi ka Rere - The People's Gallery at the Historic Village in Tauranga.
More than 50 artworks have been submitted from all year levels. The purpose of this exhibition is to give all our tairua the opportunity to get involved in the Visual Arts and participate in a community arts event.
The kaupapa theme is 'Te Hononga - The Connection'. Students have used a diverse range of media to interpret this theme and what it means to them personally.
Some students will be selling their work, with all proceeds going to them.
The exhibition will be on display at Historic Village, Tauranga from Saturday 13 May until Saturday 10 June.
Additionally, everyone is invited to come along to the opening on Friday 12 May from 5.30pm, where our music students will also be performing.
