LMS Speech Finals
1 September 2023

The 2023 LMS Speech Finals took place on Friday 1 September. Congratulations to all the Finalists for the high standard and quality of their speeches.

Well done to the winners Layla Clark (Y8) and Sade Willet (Y7) who will go on to represent the College at the WBOP Speech Finals later this month. Layla's speech was entitled 'Lies' and Sadie spoke on 'Why we shouldn't live on Mars'.

Runners-up were Arianna Ehrler (Y7) whose speech was on 'Why kindness is important', and Charlie Given (Y8) who spoke very eloquently on grief. 

The other Finalists were Mackenzie Ward (Y7), Sophia Short (Y7), Jake Bailey (Y7), Chloe Turner (Y7), Lucas Cifuentes (Y7), Mia Withers (Y8), Bella Harley (Y8), Enzo de Guzman (Y8), Savannah Herbert (Y8), Ayana Burgess (Y8), and Eva Wilson (Y8). Well done to you all on such well-written and well-presented speeches!
