Common Assessment Activities for both Literacy and Numeracy will take place from Monday 19 to Thursday 22 May (Week 4, Term 2).
All Year 10 students will sit both the Literacy and Numeracy exams during this week.
These exams test your understanding of both Literacy and Numeracy and are a required part of achieving your Level 1, 2 and 3 NCEA certificates in the future.
In the lead up to these exams, our teachers are kindly offering specific workshops to help you prepare the best you can. It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that you attend these workshops as they were beneficial to our Year 10 students last year. There will even be ice blocks and sausages on offer during some of the workshops!
More information about the CAA exams will be sent out closer to the time. To get you started, I have attached a guide that explains the basics of the Literacy and Numeracy requirement.
