On Thursday 28 March, 150 Year 7-10 students, who are a part of our Learning Through Sport classes, participated in ‘The Longest Day.’
Students worked in teams covering all year levels to complete a range of challenges. The challenges included sand-based relays, a run around Mauao carrying a 10kg weight and summiting Mauao.
We were incredibly impressed with their resilience, and the way our Year 9 and 10 students empowered the Year 7 and 8 students.
All students represented Pāpāmoa College exceptionally well. We are looking forward to our next set of challenges in term two.
