Learning Support – ORS Funded Classroom Teacher (Fixed Term)

We are seeking a passionate and skilled teacher to join our team in a Learning Support role, working with our ORS-funded students. This is a fixed-term position, providing an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of ākonga with high and very high learning needs.

The successful applicant will demonstrate a strong commitment to inclusive education and have experience (or a willingness to develop expertise) in supporting diverse learners. You will work collaboratively with kaiako, whānau, and a range of specialists to design and implement individualised programmes that promote engagement, progress, and wellbeing.

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold a current New Zealand teaching registration and practising certificate.
• Demonstrate knowledge of effective learning support strategies and inclusive practices.
• Have strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Be flexible, reflective and committed to ongoing professional growth.

This is a fixed-term position due to ORS funding entitlement. Start date will be confirmed with the successful applicant.
